NASTY Sports and Entertainment Selects this year's Charity of Choice
The Ride-Free Community Association is this year's Charity of Choice. Every year NASTY Sports and Entertainment will select a non-profit organization to partner with in an effort to raise awareness and funds for their cause.
The selection of the Ride-Free Community Assocaition exemplifies the type of organization that NASTY Sports and Entertainment is proud to support. The organization's goals of promoting positive choices in young people through the construction of recreational facilities and educational programs makes it a perfect fit with the goals of N.A.S.T.Y. Sports and Entertainment.
Ride-Free's current fundraising drive is to build a memorial skate park on Gabriola Island, BC to provide an alternative place for young people to spend their time in this semi rural community. The organization was founded in honor of Gabriola teen Stephen Smith, who died a senseless, violent, death the result of an unprovoked attack at a Nanaimo, BC house party on May 17th, 2003. His death ripped through the small island community and inspired the creation of this society to prevent needless teen deaths through positive choices.
N.A.S.T.Y. Sports and Entertainment would also be happy to assist in fundraising drives with local non-profit organizations at all of our qualifier venues. Please submit your proposals by clicking here or by calling 1888 221 6686.
